Continue ShoppingThis is such an aromatic and flavorful Soup. It’s Hot and Sour with just the slightest bit of sweetness. It’s easy to make with the kit with a yummy addition of Rice Noodles
| Tom Yam Noodles kit | 1 pack |
| Beef, sliced | 250 g |
| Shallots, minced | 2 pieces |
| Lemongrass, sliced | 1 stem |
| Mushrooms, quartered | 100 g |
| Lime juice | 1 tbsp |
Prepare the Stock
Boil 500 ml of water. Add 1 chicken stock cube and stir until dissolved. Add sliced lemongrass and minced shallots.
Add Tom Yam Paste
Stir in the Tom Yam paste into the boiling stock until completely dissolved.
Add Beef & Mushrooms
Add sliced beef filet (or tofu) and quartered mushrooms. Stir to combine.
Add Rice Noodles
Add the rice noodles and simmer for 5 minutes until cooked through.
Add Thai Seasonings
Stir in the 3 sachets of Thai seasonings (fish sauce, coconut sugar, and spices). Add 1 tbsp lime juice.
Garnish & Serve
Serve in soup bowls and garnish with a handful of fresh basil.

For my taste 500ml of water was not enough: I’ve used 1 vegeta chicken stock cube and it was too salty, so I’ve added extra water (200-250ml).

I modified the recite. I sun stituted the water and chicken bullion with 1 can coconut milk plus 2cans water.
And used chicken instead of beef, and rehydrated porcini mushrooms instead of button mushrooms. Delicious.
